
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge will turn 30 this year and there will be a special celebration to mark the occasion. Britain's railway system and Yash Raj Films (YRF) have come together for a cultural celebration to celebrate two major milestones in 2025- the railway's 200th anniversary and the 30th anniversary of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starter.
The collaboration is announced as part of Valentine's Day festivities to recognize the romance of rail travel, which centers on "Come Fall in Love - The DDLJ Musical'', as per Variety.
The YRF's musical adaptation will premiere at Manchester Opera House on May 29 and will play through until 21 June 2025.
The romantic scenes of DDLJ were captured at London's King's Cross Railway Station featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
The Kizhakkambalam-born hockey legend was at his best, protecting India’s goal and stole the limelight with his exceptional keeping abilities.
"I couldn't stop my tears. I have never seen such performance in many years and now I am convinced that this team can bring us the Olympic gold after 44 years," the former India skipper said.
The production will have original score, with 18 English songs. Music is given by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani and the book and lyrics are by Nell Benjamin (Mean Girls, Legally Blonde).
